On June 8th, 2022, the World Gameplay Reveal trailer was released. On May 24th, 2022, a new trailer called "Artwork Reveal" was released and announced the release date for October 28th, 2022.
On April 28th, 2022, Infinity Ward revealed the logo and officially announced that the name of the game would be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. At that time, the official title had not been revealed yet. In a post on the Call of Duty blog, it has been announced that the Call of Duty title of 2022 it would be a sequel of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare released in 2019 and also a new Call of Duty: Warzone experience also would be in development, both led by Infinity Ward. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II had its first confirmation official on February 11th, 2022.
